Although the main passion of my life is undoubtedly music, which I have studied extensively in two foremost Italian Universities, first in Salento and then in Bologna, my other major interest is pasta. Being an expert pasta – maker, and also a very creative song -writer have given me the main directions in my life. These two creative arts also define me as an Italian. I have always enjoyed giving pleasure to others with my songs and also with my food.
Since university, I have experienced great success with my band, “Mai Personal Mood’. We have gone on many successful musical tours, opening concerts for national and international artists, as well as appearing on national television and radio. I have also trained and worked as a music therapist, in various institutions helping people to cope with disability and mental illness through music. Music, to me, is vital to life and I love to share it with others.
More recently, I have developed my other passion for food, by successfully training as a master pasta-maker. During my student years I worked every summer in a restaurant in Lecce, Italy – ‘Re Mida’, undertaking all types of work, from cooking to waiting on tables and ultimately, managing the restaurant. I love to travel and meet people and promote the culture of my country – Italy.
However, having recently visited the UK to assist in a promotional event for WAG UK, I decided to join their team, since I have formed a close bond with this group. I am keen to take part in other World Art Games cultural events.
