Having studied GCSE Art at school, I knew how much I've always had a passion for art. However after school I continued with a more academic route until I came to decide on a university course.

Following a period of illness, I rediscovered my love of art. I am now studying at the University of Hertfordshire for a foundation degree in Fine Art Practice and will then continue onto a top up year to earn a full bachelors degree.

Art is a way of connecting people and is its own form of therapy through expression. I aspire to study in order to become an Art Therapist when I finish my current course. It seems only right to use art to help others as it has helped me.

I have undertaken a number of small commission pieces to date which has helped me to progress and consider art as a career path.
