I was born on the 15th of January 1950 in Lienz, Eastern Tyrol.
After elementary school, I attended grammar school, took my A-levels and studied to be a teacher in a secondary school in my home town.
My subjects were English, Italian, geography and art. (I taught in Lienz from 1972 until I retired in 2012).
I spent half a year in England (Sussex), three months in France and two years in the United States.
At the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls I studied English, French, German literature and completed my studies with a Master of Arts diploma.
During the last years I have been writing poems and short stories (poetic as well as humorous ones) in German, English, Italian and French.
So far I had more than 30 successful readings in public in Eastern Tyrol, North Tyrol, South Tyrol, Carinthia and Vienna.
I published a booklet of poems and a booklet with short stories together with an art photographer.
I am member of WAG (World Art Games Austria).
The anthology: „Wir, bewegende Steine“ of the association „Literaturgrenzenlos“ in Vienna includes four of my poems (published by Penclub).
At the 5th international literature festival (2017) of Mošćenička Draga in Croatia, I won the literature competition.
