Quilting studies: Many courses in Finland and some during international quilt meetings in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Spain. Internet lessons by teachers Bonnie Hunter, Dorothy Young and Tara Kos from U.S.A. I have travelled and visited quilt exhibitions all over the world: Australia, Hawaii, China, U.S.A. and many European countries. I have studied dyeing in Finland and even in Gambia. I have had many round robins and exchanges with international quilters; the last one was a miniature quilt exchange 2012 with Jeanne Ameduri in St Louis. I have taken part in different mystery quilts and exchanging quilt blocks with other quilters.
My work has been featured several times in the Finnish quilt association (Finn Quilt ry) magazine, Tilkkulehti. The local newspapers, Sydän-Hämeen lehti and Kangasalan sanomat, have written articles of my exhibitions numerous times, providing positive reviews.
