Monica Del Pozo Baez

Mrs. Del Pozo is a graphic designer, artist and painter in Mexico. She holds a Graphic Designer degree from Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Additionally, Monica has participated in several education programs in the areas of painting, engraving, textile, sculpture, plastic arts and human figure drawing at The Fine Arts Institute of San Luis Potosi and at The Art Student League of New York City.
Her paintings and engraving have been influenced by her teachers, including the recognized plastic artists Armando Belmontes and Jesus Ramos, as well as other important artist such as Rosa Luz Villasuso, Mario Cuevas, Jose Angel Robles y Veronica Gomez. Monica’s pieces have been in solo and collective exhibitions across Mexico with strong presence in her native state of San Luis Potosi.

• San Luis Potosi Broadcasters Association graphic design award (First place, 1988).
Mrs. Del Pozo work was selected for three consecutive years in the November 20th art contest in honor of Raul Gamboa, a recognized student of the late Mexican painter, Diego Rivera.
